Dwayne Johnson a posté sur son compte instagram le look que Hobbs, son personnage dans la saga Fast & Furious, aura dans le huitième film. Il précise dans on post :

« Lorsque vous dépouillez un homme de tout ce qu’il a, de tout ce qui est important pour lui, vous le forcez à revenir à ses racines. Et parfois c’est un endroit très dangereux et tortueux.

Si je devais revenir pour un autre Fast & Furious, je voulais arriver pour perturber la franchise d’une manière nouvelle pour donner une nouvelle facette de Hobbs et lui donner une direction pour l’avenir.

Ce sera peut-être pour un film spin-off, peut-être pour d’autres Fast & Furious. Où alors pour montrer le personnage sur sa moto vers le soleil couchant pour ne jamais revenir. »

Fast 8 sera dans les salles françaises le 12 avril 2017.

If I was going to return for another FAST & FURIOUS I wanted to come in and disrupt the franchise in a cool way that got fans fired up and their blood pumping to see a new version of Hobbs and his "Daddy's gotta go to work" mentality and set the table in a cool way for where the character goes in the future. Maybe it's a spinoff movie. Maybe it's more #FF movies. Or hell maybe Hobbs just gets on his motorcycle and rides off into the sunset never to be seen again.
